I've never been so pissed off at a company or a piece of software in the 25+ years I've been messing around computers. Choose OneDrive in the menu bar, then choose Quit OneDrive. Everyone keeps forwarding me to the Office dept, where they tell me they're not equipped to handle it. OneDrive can then be closed, using the Spotlight feature to look for OneDrive. I can access files if I do it via the website, which is just dumb. THE WORST PART is that MS forced this - I didn't ask for this to happen!!!! They literally had the software take off all of my files and just tossed them into the cloud and were like "F U, we don't care what you think you want." NOW - NONE of my files will download, despite clicking "Download all OD files now." I cannot open anything that's just 'stuck in the cloud'.

Then a few weeks ago, everything needed to be re-downloaded. Look for the OneDrive icon on the right side of the menu bar. I want ALL of my files on my laptop locally and use OD to sync everything across multiple devices, including my phone. Contents Make sure the OneDrive process is running. After you confirm that OneDrive is indeed closed (you can use Task Manager to validate), click the Start button to open the Start menu, search for OneDrive, and click on it. To do so, simultaneously press Windows logo and R keys or simply type Run in Start/taskbar search field and then press Enter key. I'm so pissed with MS and the OneDrive team. If you want to reset your OneDrive for business client, please follow the steps as showing.
